This mailing list is obtained from a federal agency each month hence it’s complete, up-to-date and accurate.

The following numbers represent the national Dental Hygienist Database (i.e. 51 states).
- Number of unique NPI records: 9,828
- Number of unique addresses: 6,879
- Number of unique phone numbers: 6,308
- Number of unique fax numbers: 2,067
NPI is a unique 10-digit identification number issued to health care providers in the United States. The reason why number of unique business addresses (or phone and fax numbers) is much lower than the number of providers is because many hygienists work at the same location (e.g. hospital) and share the same address, fax and phone.
